THE CHURCH SCHOOL

Our Church School begins on Sundays at 10:00 a.m. We are currently using the LIVING THE GOOD NEWS CURRICULUM.. This is a lectionary based curriculum that follows the readings of the Adult service. It brings to life the scripture readings for the day with activities, stories, music and games. The three-year cycle of Sunday scripture readings covers most of the New Testament and much of the Old Testament. We offer a K-1st class, a 2nd-3rd class, and a 4th-5th class.

The Church School joins the adults in the Holy Eucharist before the offertory and participates in the rest of the service with. There is always a special interactive time with the Celebrant.

A nursery attendant is also available during the 10:00 servicein the newly renovated nursery.

CAMP LIVING WATERS

Several years ago Christ Church Parish, together with St. Alban’s in Arcata, St. Francis in Fortuna and St. Paul’s in Crescent City, joined together to organize a summer camping experience for our youth of our area (the “Semper Virens” Deanery). This was because the Diocesan camp at Lake Tahoe is so far away (an eight hour drive). Each summer youth and adults gather at beautiful Redwood Creek for a week of fun and Christian fellowship.

This year camp begins on July 20

and concludes July 25.

If you are interested in attending camp

full information and registration forms can be at the link below.
